How To Make Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Creamy, refreshing, and loaded with chunks of chocolate. This ice cream is a perfect summer treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to steam.

  • Remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips and chopped mint leaves until fully combined. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.

  • Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, until the ice cream is thick and creamy.

  • Transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 3-4 hours, or until firm.

  • Scoop and serve!
