  • 4 cups peeled, sliced apples
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well and pour into the prepared baking dish.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, and melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the apples.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the top is golden brown.
