Pisco Sour Cocktail Recipe

Pisco sour is a tart and sweet cocktail made with pisco, egg whites and lime juice, then garnished with Angostura bitters.

Ingredients

  • 2 fl oz pisco
  • 1 fl oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • ½ fl oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Angostura bitters, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add pisco, lime juice, simple syrup and egg white into a shaker and dry-shake (without ice) vigorously.
  2. Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass. (Alternatively, strain it into a rocks glass over fresh ice.)

  4. Garnish with 3 to 5 drops of Angostura bitters. Using a straw, toothpick or similar implement, swirl the bitters into a simple design, if desired.
