How to Make Easy Strawberry Champagne

  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled, fresh or frozen
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 750 ml brut champagne, or sparkling wine (1 bottle)

  1. Place the strawberries and lemon juice in a blender or food processor. Puree until smooth.
  2. Spoon 1 to 2 tablespoons of the puree into the bottom of a champagne flute and top with champagne. With a long spoon, very gently stir. Garnish with a fresh strawberry slice and sip away!

  1. This recipe will yield about 10 tablespoons of puree, which is enough for about 4 to 8 drinks, depending upon the amount of puree you like in your glass.

  2. One bottle of champagne is about 4 drinks with each drink being a 6-ounce serving.

  3. Feel free to use more or less puree or champagne, depending upon your desired ratio.

To Store

  1. Store the strawberry puree in an airtight storage container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

  2. Top with champagne just before serving.
