  • 1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 large peaches, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Roll out the puff pastry onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the almond flour and sugar. Spread this mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.

  4. Arrange the peach slices on top of the almond mixture, overlapping slightly.

  5. In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter and almond extract. Drizzle this mixture over the peaches.

  6. Sprinkle the sliced almonds on top.

  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the peaches are cooked through.

  8. Allow the tart to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature.
