Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons powdered gelatin
  • 4 tablespoons cold water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream and sugar over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  2. In a separate small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes to soften.

  3. Remove the cream mixture from the heat and stir in the softened gelatin until completely dissolved.

  4. Divide the mixture equally among 4 glasses or ramekins. Let it cool to room temperature.

  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

  6. Serve chilled, garnished with fresh berries or a drizzle of caramel sauce.
