How To Make Mock Apple Pie

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp of salt
- 2 cups of crushed Ritz crackers
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup of lemon juice
- 1/4 cup of butter, melted
- 1 cup of water
- Whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a medium bowl, whisk the eggs and salt together until well combined.

Add the crushed Ritz crackers, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, melted butter, and water to the bowl. Mix until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
