  • 1 pound kumquats
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Wash the kumquats thoroughly and remove any stems.

  2. Slice the kumquats thinly, removing any seeds.

  3. In a large pot, combine the sliced kumquats, sugar, and water.

  4. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

  5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 45-60 minutes, or until the mixture thickens to a syrupy consistency.

  6. Remove from heat and let the marmalade cool slightly before transferring to clean jars.

  7. Seal the jars tightly and let them cool completely before storing in the refrigerator.
