Total: 4 hours and 20 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of instant coffee
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, granulated sugar, instant coffee, vanilla extract, and salt until the sugar and instant coffee are fully dissolved.

  2. Pour the mixture into a loaf pan and cover with plastic wrap. Place in the freezer for 2 hours.

  3. After 2 hours, remove the pan from the freezer and use a fork to stir the mixture, breaking up any ice crystals that have formed.

  4. Return the pan to the freezer and freeze for an additional 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.

  5. Once fully frozen, remove the pan from the freezer. Dip the bottom of the pan in warm water for a few seconds to loosen the terrine.

  6. Place a serving plate on top of the pan and invert the terrine onto the plate. Remove the plastic wrap.

  7. Slice the terrine and serve immediately. Enjoy!
