How To Make Chocolate Mint Cookies

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh mint leaves
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the vanilla extract and egg until well combined.

Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
