  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

  3. In a separate large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

  6. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries.

  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
