- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup buttermilk
- 1 cup mixed dried fruits (such as raisins, cranberries, and chopped apricots)
- ½ cup chopped nuts (such as walnuts or pecans)
- Powdered sugar, for dusting

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a separate bowl, beat together the melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the buttermilk. Mix until just combined.
