  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.

  2. In a large bowl, mix the mashed bananas, sugar, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.

  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer the loaf to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
