How To Make Cranberry & White Chocolate Panettone

Ingredients
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 ½ tsp active dry yeast
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup warm milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup dried cranberries
- ½ cup white chocolate chunks
- Zest of 1 orange
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- Powdered sugar, for dusting

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together warm milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Fold in dried cranberries, white chocolate chunks, orange zest, and softened butter. Knead until well incorporated.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a clean towel. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased panettone mold or a round cake pan.

Let it rise for an additional 30 minutes.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
