How To Make Panettone Cherry Ice Cream Bombe with Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 panettone, cut into 1-inch thick horizontal slices
- 2 pints cherry ice cream
- 1 cup chocolate sauce
- Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Instructions

Line a 6-8 cup bowl with plastic wrap, allowing excess to hang over the sides.

Place a layer of panettone slices on the bottom of the bowl, breaking them into smaller pieces to fit.

Spoon a layer of cherry ice cream on top of the panettone.

Repeat with another layer of panettone followed by cherry ice cream until the bowl is filled, finishing with a layer of panettone.

Fold the excess plastic wrap over the top and freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight.

In a small saucepan, heat the chocolate sauce over low heat until warmed through.

Remove the panettone bombe from the freezer and invert onto a serving plate. Remove the plastic wrap.

Pour the warm chocolate sauce over the top of the bombe, allowing it to drizzle down the sides.

Garnish with maraschino cherries before serving.

Slice and serve immediately.
