  • 4 eggs

  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and creamy.

  3. Gradually add the melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt, and mix well.

  4. Gently fold in the flour until just combined.

  5. Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.

  6. Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
