  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped scallions
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 32 dumpling wrappers
  • Water for sealing dumplings

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground pork, cabbage, scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of a dumpling wrapper.

  3. Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper.

  4. Fold the wrapper in half to form a half-moon shape and press the edges firmly to seal the dumpling.

  5. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

  6. In a large pot of boiling water, cook the dumplings for about 5-7 minutes or until they float to the surface.

  7. Remove the dumplings with a slotted spoon and serve hot.
