Ingredients

  • 4 fillets of white fish, such as tilapia or cod
  • 4 slices of ginger
  • 4 scallions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp of soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp of rice wine
  • 1 tbsp of sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Place fish fillets in a heatproof dish and top each fillet with a slice of ginger and some sliced scallions.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice wine, and sesame oil. Drizzle over the fish.

  3. Bring water to a boil in a steamer. Carefully place the heatproof dish in the steamer and cover with a lid. Steam for 10-15 minutes or until the fish is white and flaky.

  4. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
