How To Make Trio’s Lemon Bars Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 8×8 inch baking dish.

In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup powdered sugar. Cut in 1/2 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press mixture into bottom of prepared baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden.

While crust is baking, in a separate mixing bowl, whisk together 2 eggs and 3/4 cup granulated sugar. Stir in 2 tbsp flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and 1/4 tsp salt.

Gradually stir in 2 tbsp lemon juice and 1 tbsp lemon zest until mixture is well combined.

Pour lemon mixture over baked crust and return to oven for an additional 18-20 minutes, or until lemon mixture is set and lightly golden around the edges.

Cool completely before slicing into bars and serving.
