How To Make Pasta House Lemon Sorbet Recipe

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves.

  2. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and zest.

  3. Pour mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for 30 minutes.

  4. Remove from freezer, stir mixture and scrape the frozen bits from the edges into the center.

  5. Freeze for another 2-3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.

  6. Serve in chilled bowls, garnished with lemon and mint if desired.
