  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a donut pan.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder, and 1/2 tsp cinnamon.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and 2 tbsp melted butter until well combined.

  4. Slowly pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

  5. Spoon batter into donut pan cavities, filling each 3/4 full.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes, or until donuts are lightly golden and spring back when pressed.

  7. In a shallow bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon.
