How To Make Mrs. Clinton’s Chocolate Cake
Decadent and moist chocolate cake that will melt in your mouth.

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup whole milk
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a medium bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.

Gradually add dry ingredients to butter mixture, alternating with milk, until well combined.

Pour batter into a greased 8-inch round cake pan.

Bake for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let cake cool in pan for 5 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
