Succulent shrimp tossed in garlic butter and white wine sauce, served with pasta.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb angel hair pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
-
Cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
-
In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
-
Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside.
-
Deglaze the pan with white wine and lemon juice, scraping any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the liquid has reduced by half.
-
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until coated in the sauce. Add the shrimp back to the pan and stir to combine.
-
Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh parsley.
