Ingredients

  • 4 beef tenderloin steaks, about 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a bowl, mix together minced garlic, chopped thyme, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper.

  3. Rub the mixture all over the beef tenderloin steaks.

  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side, until browned.

  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.

  7. Remove the steaks from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
