How To Make Eldon’s Shepherd’s Pie
A classic comfort dish featuring seasoned ground beef, vegetables, and creamy mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.

Add onion, carrots, garlic, and thyme to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.

Add beef broth to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook until liquid is reduced by half.

Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes over the top.

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the mashed potatoes.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
