How To Make Benihana Hibachi Teriyaki Chicken Recipe
Juicy and flavorful teriyaki chicken grilled to perfection by Benihana.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sake
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced for garnish
Instructions

Preheat grill to high heat.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar, garlic, and ginger until well combined.

Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper then brush with vegetable oil.

Grill chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side or until cooked through.

Brush chicken with teriyaki sauce during the last few minutes of grilling on each side. Reserve some teriyaki sauce for serving.

Remove chicken from grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Serve chicken with reserved teriyaki sauce and sliced green onions.
