How To Make Warming Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 celery stalks, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 10-12 minutes until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pot and shred it using two forks.

In the same pot, add the diced onion, sliced carrots, sliced celery, minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried oregano. Cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables start to soften.

Add the shredded chicken back to the pot along with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to package instructions in a separate pot. Drain and set aside.

Add the cooked noodles to the pot with the chicken and vegetables. Stir to combine and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Serve the warm chicken noodle soup topped with fresh parsley for garnish.
