How To Make Sweet and Sour Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 lb of chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup of pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup of ketchup
- 1/4 cup of rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
Instructions

In a shallow dish, coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch.

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the onion and bell pepper. Cook until softened.

Add the pineapple chunks, ketchup, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and soy sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
