Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup brandy

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breast fillets with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, then add the chicken fillets. Cook for about 5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add the butter and asparagus. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the asparagus is tender.

  4. Remove the skillet from heat and carefully pour the brandy over the chicken and asparagus. Ignite the brandy with a long match or lighter and let it flame up for a few seconds until the flame disappears.

  5. Serve the flambéed chicken with the cooked asparagus.
