How To Make Creamy Tarragon Chicken Potato Bake Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp fresh tarragon leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Heat some olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear them in the skillet until browned on both sides. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced potatoes, onion, and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the potatoes are slightly softened.

Add the chicken broth and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Stir in the heavy cream and chopped tarragon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the potato mixture to a baking dish. Place the seared chicken breasts on top of the potatoes.

Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and potatoes are golden and tender.

Serve the creamy tarragon chicken and potato bake hot, garnished with extra tarragon leaves.
