How To Make Creamy Tarragon Chicken with Asparagus

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh tarragon leaves, chopped
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
Instructions

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

Stir in the heavy cream and tarragon leaves. Cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.

Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add the asparagus. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and coat with the creamy tarragon sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Serve the creamy tarragon chicken with the cooked asparagus on the side.
