How To Make Chicken Parmigiana

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.

Transfer the chicken breasts to a baking dish and top with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
