Serves:
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
-
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
-
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
-
Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix – a few lumps are okay.
-
Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron, spreading it evenly. Close the lid and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
-
Carefully remove the waffle from the iron and repeat with the remaining batter.
-
Serve the cinnamon Belgian waffles warm, topped with your favorite syrup, fresh fruits, or whipped cream.
