How To Make Cinnamon Roll French Toast Casserole

This French toast casserole makes use of cinnamon rolls to create a simple yet flavorful breakfast and brunch item that you can make in less than an hour.

For French Toast

  • 2cansPillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls,frosting reserved for later use
  • Cooking spray
  • 4eggs
  • ½cupmilk
  • 2tbspmaple syrup

For Streusel:

  • ¼cupall purpose flour
  • ¼cuppacked brown sugar
  • ¼cupbutter,cold and cut into pieces
  • ¼tspCinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 9 by 13-inch pan with cooking spray.

  2. Cut the cinnamon rolls into quarters and place them in the pan.

  3. In a small bowl mix together the eggs, milk and maple syrup.

  4. Pour the egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces.

Streusel:

  1. Place the flour, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Use a fork to blend the butter into the flour and sugar until a pebbly mixture forms.

  2. Sprinkle the streusel over the cinnamon roll french toast.

  3. Bake, uncovered, for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  4. Drizzle the reserved frosting over the top and serve.
