  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced

  • 4 eggs

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture over the onions.

  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the quiche.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the crust is golden brown.
