How To Make Banana Nut Breakfast Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp of vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

  3. Add eggs, mashed bananas, and vanilla. Mix well.

  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to the banana mixture. Stir until moistened.

  5. Fold in chopped walnuts.

  6. Pour batter into a greased 9×5-inch loaf pan.

  7. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  8. Remove from oven and let it cool for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
