  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup flaxseeds
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, chopped rosemary, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.

  3. Pour in the buttermilk and stir until the dough comes together.

  4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for a minute.

  5. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Use a sharp knife to make a cross on top of the bread.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
