How To Make Bread Machine Sourdough Recipe

A tangy and delicious sourdough bread made with the help of a bread machine.

Cooking: 2.5 hours
Total: 2 hours and 40 minutes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ cups warm water
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer.
  2. Set the bread machine to the dough cycle and start.
  3. Once the cycle is complete, remove the dough and knead it for a few minutes.
  4. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place in a greased baking pan.
  5. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  7. Score the top of the loaf and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let the bread cool before serving.
