How To Make Bread Machine Challah
An easy recipe for a traditional Jewish braided bread made using a bread machine.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
Instructions

Add water, eggs, oil, honey, salt, flour, and yeast to bread machine in the order recommended by manufacturer.

Select dough cycle and let machine do its work.

Once dough is ready, remove and divide into 3 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a long rope.

Braid the ropes together and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cover with a cloth and let rise for 30-45 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350°F and bake challah for 25-30 minutes.

Let cool before slicing.
