How To Make Steak Tagliata with Lemony Lentils

Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 steak fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 cups cooked lentils
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions

Season the steak fillets with salt, pepper, and dried oregano.

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over high heat. Add the steak fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the cooked lentils, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Slice the steak fillets into thin strips.

Serve the steak on top of the lemony lentils and garnish with chopped parsley.
