Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 slices of Cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion for toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat.

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  3. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape each into a patty.

  4. Grill or cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.

  5. In the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and let it melt.

  6. Toast hamburger buns lightly and assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, and onion.
