How To Make Italian Beef Casserole Recipe

This savory Italian inspired casserole is filled with tender beef, gooey cheese, and layers of pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups pasta sauce
  • 8 oz uncooked rotini pasta
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Brown ground beef and drain.

  3. Cook rotini according to package directions and drain.

  4. In a greased 9×13 baking dish, layer uncooked pasta, ground beef, pasta sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Repeat layers.

  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until pasta is tender.

  6. Sprinkle both cheeses over casserole and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.

  7. Let casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
