Ingredients

  • 1 pandoro (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup sherry
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the pandoro into 1-inch thick slices and arrange them in a baking dish.

  2. Drizzle the sherry over the pandoro slices. Sprinkle the sliced almonds and orange zest evenly over the top.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the pandoro is golden brown and the almonds are lightly toasted.

  4. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
