How To Make Melty Onion Toasts

Ingredients
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place the slices of bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5 minutes, or until lightly golden.

Remove the toasted bread slices from the oven and top each slice with a generous amount of caramelized onions.

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the onions.

Place the baking sheet back in the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
