Ingredients

  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup Vin Santo (Italian dessert wine)
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup biscotti, crushed
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the Vin Santo over medium heat until it reduces by half. Remove from heat and let cool.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.

  3. In serving glasses or bowls, layer sliced strawberries, a drizzle of the cooled Vin Santo syrup, a dollop of mascarpone mixture, and a sprinkle of crushed biscotti. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used.

  4. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.
