How To Make Air Fryer Polenta Fries

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of instant polenta
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the salt.

  2. Slowly whisk in the polenta, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Continue to cook for 5 minutes, until thickened.

  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the garlic powder.

  4. Pour the polenta mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread it evenly to about 1/2 inch thickness.

  5. Allow the polenta to cool and become firm, about 20 minutes.

  6. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  7. Cut the polenta into fry shapes, about 1/2 inch wide and 3 inches long.

  8. Lightly coat the polenta fries with cooking spray.

  9. Place the fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  10. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
