How To Make Polenta Fries
Fries don’t always have to be the regular, straight-cut potatoes. Not only are they the best go-to snack for many, but they also they pair excellently with other meals as a fun add-on. Have some not-so-ordinary fries with these best fries recipes.

Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Cooking spray
Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil.

Slowly whisk in the cornmeal, salt, garlic powder, and paprika.

Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring constantly, for about 10-15 minutes or until the polenta thickens.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the cooked polenta onto it.

Spread the polenta evenly to a thickness of about 1/2 inch.

Allow the polenta to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Remove the firm polenta from the fridge and cut it into fries.

Place the fries onto a greased baking sheet, making sure they are arranged in a single layer.

Lightly spray the fries with cooking spray and sprinkle them with salt.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until crispy and golden brown, flipping halfway through.

Serve the polenta fries hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
