How To Make Venison Tacos

Juicy venison cooked with Mexican spices and served on warm tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground venison
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • Toppings: diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, sour cream, hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. Add ground venison and cook until no longer pink.

  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.

  5. Warm tortillas in a separate skillet or in the microwave.

  6. Serve venison on tortillas with desired toppings.
