How To Make Goose and Wild Rice Pilaf Recipe
A flavorful and hearty side dish, packed with wild rice and tender pieces of goose.

Ingredients
- 1 cup uncooked wild rice
- 2 cups water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 pound cooked goose meat, shredded
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Rinse the wild rice and combine with water and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer until fully cooked, about 40-50 minutes.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and saute onion until soft, about 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and thyme and cook for another minute.

Stir in the cooked rice and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the goose meat, parsley, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through.
