How To Make Millet and Vegetable Soup
A warm and comforting soup packed with wholesome millet and nutritious vegetables.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup millet
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 4 cups vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the onion and garlic and sauté until the onion is translucent.

Add the carrots, celery, and red bell pepper and sauté for 5 minutes.

Add the millet, vegetable broth, salt, and black pepper and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes or until the millet is cooked and the vegetables are tender.

Serve hot.
